Q- What Computer Repair
Services do you provide?
A- We specialize in the user side, workstation and desktop service.
We will help with any server problems in an emergency (downed or dead) but
most of our clients are 50 users and below and are more desktop
oriented. Q-
What software do you support?
A- All Microsoft products, most major small business accounting software, and
many vertical application database products. Any Internet based software. Q-
Do you do Data Recovery?
A- Yes we do. Under most scenarios we are around 90% effective in
most data recovery. There are exceptions if there is physical damage to
the hard drive. And, if other unsuccessful efforts have scrambled the bits
and bytes it presents additional challenges. It can be a slow tedious job,
depending on the circumstances.
Q- How about Spyware and Virus Removal?
A- Yes, unfortunately that is one of our most common service calls.
The Internet has introduced many opportunities and capabilities to any one
with access. But the bad news is there are a lot of people on the Internet
that want to ruin your day, sometimes for fun, sometimes for profit. We
can remove any virus or spyware and install software that will keep it
from every coming back. We also provide a quick course in prevention and
protection that will keep any user out of trouble. Q-
Can you do anything about Spam and Email problems?
A- Absolutely. We host and manage many of our client's websites and
email servers and can provide solutions that are unintrusive and effective
to eliminate 99% of unwanted emails. This is a huge time saver and can
actually make email a pleasure to have again. Q-
We want to network our computers, do you do that?
A- We provide installation and support of both wireless and wired
networking. The convenience and cost factors on wireless versus wired is
overwhelming. The clutter and addition cost for cables, wall jacks that
are eliminated with a wireless network make it the best choice.
Q- Do you sell computers?
A- No, but we would be happy to make recommendations and even
provide personalized service on helping you get the best bang for your
buck. We do stock many parts and components for desktop class computers.
Q- How do you price your services?
A- We work on an hourly rate or project basis. Our hourly rate is
$75. It can depend on the
individual service and resources but we always provide an estimate and
guarantee to be within 10%. Troubleshooting can be more difficult to
estimate but we always keep our clients informed as we work.
Q- What kind of response time do you provide?
A- It depends on the severity of your problem. If you are down, or
have some catastrophic failure that effects your business, you get first
priority. Most times we can respond in a matter of hours or worst case
same day.
Q- Do you charge travel time?
A- Generally there are no travel charges for any client in a ten
mile radius (see map of service areas here) of our service area . If
outside our service area, we may charge for fuel but that's it.
Q- What types of payment
do you accept?
A- Payment is normally due at time of completion. If you want to
set up an account for ongoing services we can arrange that after the first
service call. We also take all major credit cards for payment, online or
offline.
