Master of Fine Arts
The course of Master of Fine Arts offers an exciting and critically engaged, multidisciplinary program for emerging artists. The curriculum is based on a combination of studio practice, theory and professional classes committed to the expansion of formal employment, intellectual and conceptual students working in and through a variety of means, such as performance , sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, installation and video. The program encourages students to create, interpret and present their work to intellectual rigor and refined skills needed to become professional artists. The College of Fine Arts MFA international celebrities are members of the community of New York art exhibited and published worldwide. The Fine Arts MFA student community is a diverse group with pride that come from multiple backgrounds and cultures.
Materials and Methods of Fine Arts
The MFA offers an immersion into the exciting world of art, familiarizing students with the means, the context and interpretation of art through intensive classes of the many techniques available to contemporary artists. Students gain a deeper understanding of the material components of the works of art and ideas that make them significant. Students develop their own individual voice and critical thinking through an ongoing dialogue with diverse faculty of arts professionals. It provides them with personalized attention and a variety of perspectives on the place art 's in global culture.
From Concept to Creation
The MFA is two years, 60 credits of the program is based on a combination of studio practice, theory and professional classes committed to the expansion of formal employment, intellectual and conceptual students working within and across a wide variety of media such as performance, sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, installation and video. The program encourages students to create, interpret and present their work to intellectual rigor and refined skills needed to become profesionales.Nuestro artists curriculum is developed around several central lines of the Study: Visit one on one with our critical faculty and fellow students group, critical thinking courses that will give you a cross section of critical theory and philosophy relevant for contemporary artists, thesis writing and research to support individual research, surrounding personnel work students in the study, professional practice to explore policies and strategies for a wide variety of exhibition spaces that New York and will be responsible for technical management, proposal writing, web design, photo documentation of work and many other practical issues that students need in the field as well as the production of the exhibition catalog tesis.Además class these lines, we offer advanced elective courses of study that cover the areas of film and video, advanced painting, installation , sculpture, performance and ecological literacy and Transdisciplinary Seminar, a class that looks at how other areas are in dialogue with Fine Arts. Examples have been art and Afro Futurism, Art and Poetry, Art and Science and feminist art practices.
