I’ve been in the computer consulting business one way or another for over 30 years. Started out setting up accounting systems for small businesses, spent the next 12 years doing work for several large corporations on major projects, and then in 2000’s spent a couple of years doing IT auditing for the government but just got tired of being a Road Warrior. Went back to working with small businesses and non profits in 2004 doing websites. Around 2008 finally decided go with the front end of Web Design rather than working with the databases and etc (the back end is more coding). Working with clients and training one on one is a lot more fun.
My sister has lived up in the Seattle area for the past 20 years and is a big fan of the area. I finally came up for a visit and really liked all the natural beauty of the area. I’ve always enjoyed photography as a hobby and couldn’t resist all the great landscape and natural wonders to photograph. Between the Sound, Mountains, and foliage that are absolutely gorgeous, I’ll never run out of something to shoot. Quite often I grab the cameras and head for the outdoors, weather permitting.
You may notice that funny looking guy sitting in my lap, his name is Baily, and he’s my other main hobby. Baily is half Pomeranian and half Yorkie, and weighs in at about 8 lbs. Baily likes to go and explore our new area with me, and is quite the character. He has no fear (thinks he’s an 80 lb bad boy) and likes every person he sees. But he doesn’t like pit bulls, yea, that can be a big problem. Luckily most of the pit bulls think he’s a big cat and are wary of him, but it can get pretty exciting.
Baily in his carrier ready to go!
Got to have a good pair of boots
that glow in the dark.
And he’s my backup cameraman.
